About Us
Our Story
Meet Ria, making the best dog accessories started with her.
Dogkit was born out of a need for a quirky, stylish and functional accessories for our much loved Akita named Ria. Ria isn’t exactly the smallest of dogs and has a great talent of escaping from collars and harnesses each time she sees water or a muddy puddle, it wasn’t easy to find a perfect fit, so we created it and now sharing it with your dogs.

We’re Dogkit, and we make the accessories that bring you closer to your dog, make you feel safe, make you stand out, and make you feel comfortable. We started out with the goal of giving you broader choice than ‘small, medium, large’, making it a better fit for you and your dog(s) and brighten up the morning walks with colours. All made locally, using locally sourced materials, not circled 11856 nautical miles across the globe in the container.

Making Things Differently
With you and the dog in mind and heart
If you’ve ever been to a pet store looking for accessories for your dog, you’ll understand how we felt before founding Dogkit. Hanging from the hooks are soulless, plain, dull things of dubious quality. There’s a lot to choose from, but there’s nothing to choose from. There’s no chance you’ll be able to find a wide collar or make it personal. It’s all ‘Made in China,’ and it’s all practically disposable. We didn’t find anything for Ria, so we made it and it went from one to a whole range.

We do it differently, ethically, ensuring that our business has the least possible effect on the environment, that it benefits the local community and economy, and, most importantly, that the quality of our goods can inspire you to use them for many years.
We either make the products in house, with most of materials sourced in the UK, some from Europe.
Welcome to Dogkit.
